Why do you need my email?
The preview is free for everyone. The full transcript and caption files are also free, but need a work email so we know which teams use the tool. You enter it once on each browser. We send the transcript to that address, and only add you to our mailing list if you tick the box.
How accurate is it?
If a TikTok has creator or automatic captions, you get them exactly. Otherwise we use speech recognition (Whisper), which is accurate for clear speech but less so over loud music.
What are SRT and VTT files?
Caption files with timestamps. SRT works in Premiere, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, and most editors. VTT is the web standard used by players like YouTube and Vimeo.
How long can the video be?
Up to three minutes. Longer videos are rejected before processing starts.
Does it work with private accounts?
No. Private, deleted, and age-restricted posts can't be fetched.
Can I repost what I download?
Only if it's your own content or you have the creator's permission. Credit creators and ask before reposting.
