Brand deals
Accounts that score 400 or higher can get brand deals through Roar.
Last updated
Brand deals on Roar come from companies working with Shortlist. Each deal runs through your portal, from the offer to the final posts.
Eligibility#
Accounts that score 400 or higher are eligible. Until you reach it, your Offers tab shows Brand partnerships open at 400, your current score, and a link to See your path. Once an account is above 400, the tab names it, for example You cleared 400 on TikTok.
Eligibility is per account. If your TikTok scores 520 and your Instagram scores 310, only your TikTok is eligible.
Open to brand deals#
Turn on Open to brand deals on the Offers tab to tell Shortlist you want offers. You need a verified account first; the switch is disabled until then. You can turn it off at any time.
Deal steps#
- A brand sends you an offer. It appears on Home and under Needs response in Offers, and you get a notification.
- Read the terms and the brief: the program, how often to post, which platforms, and the compensation.
- If the account the brand invited isn't scored and verified yet, do that first. See Accepting an offer.
- Accept or decline. Accepting unlocks the Content tab.
- Upload drafts and revise them until they're approved. See Submit content.
- Post the approved content from the invited account, then add the live link with Mark as posted. Roar tracks the post and shows its stats on the offer.
- The brand pays you according to the agreement. See Getting paid.
Program types#
| Program | Usually means |
|---|---|
| Text on screen UGC | Short videos driven by on-screen text, often without speaking to camera. |
| Talking head UGC | You on camera, speaking to the viewer. |
| Influencer | Content for your own audience, posted on your account. |
Each offer's brief has the details, and may include example posts. Read it before you film, since reviewers check drafts against it.
