Components#

ComponentBased on
ReachFollowers and median views on recent posts.
EngagementLikes, comments, shares, and saves relative to your size, and whether posts reach people beyond your followers.
ConsistencyHow often and how regularly you post, how recently you posted, and whether recent posts outperform older ones.
ContentVisual quality, a recognizable look across your feed, strong hooks, and whether you appear on camera.
Brand readinessBrand-safe content, past brand work, a clear niche, and a bio that says how brands can contact you.

Each component has its own score and a few reasons, such as "About 3 posts a week" or "Bio doesn't say how brands can reach you". Tap See breakdown on Home to read them.

Weighting#

Reach sets the starting point. Engagement, Consistency, Content, and Brand readiness then adjust the score by up to 150 points in either direction, weighted like this:

ComponentWeight
Engagement35%
Consistency25%
Content25%
Brand readiness15%

A smaller account with strong engagement and regular posting can outscore a larger account that has stopped posting.

Multiple accounts#

Each connected account gets its own score, since brands evaluate each platform separately. Home shows your highest-scoring account first and lists the others under Also scored.

Score changes#

Scores are based on your most recent posts, so they change as you post. Posting regularly raises Consistency; a few weeks without posting lowers it, along with your score. Home shows the change since your last score, or Same as your last score if it didn't move.

Re-scoring#

You can re-score each account once a day with Re-score on Home. If you've scored that account in the last day, the button reads Re-score tomorrow.

Brand deal eligibility#

Brands working with Shortlist are matched with accounts that score 400 or higher. A few thousand engaged followers is usually enough. See Brand deals.

Sharing your score#

Share my score creates an image of your score that you can post or send to a brand.
