Privacy

Roar for Creators only reads public posts on the profiles you add. It never asks for your social media passwords and never posts, comments, or sends messages for you. This page summarizes how your data is used; the privacy policy is the full version.

Data we collect#

• Public posts on your connected profiles: recent posts, their public counts (views, likes, comments, shares), captions, cover images, and your public bio. Your Roar Score is calculated from these.
• Your name and email, and anything you add about what you make or brands you'd like to work with.
• Drafts and captions you upload for brand deals, and your messages in feedback threads and Chat.
• The public numbers on posts you mark as posted for a brand deal.

Roar doesn't read private accounts, direct messages, or anything else that isn't public.

Verification#

Verification works by checking your public bio for a code like SL-7KQ2X9. You never log in to TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube through Roar. See Verify your account.

Who can see your data#

• Brands you work with see your response to their offer, the drafts you submit for their campaign, and the performance of posts you mark as posted.
• Shortlist sees your scores, offers, and drafts, so it can match you with brands and help review drafts.

Deleting your data#

Account deletion isn't available in the portal yet. Email hello@shlist.com from the address you signed up with and ask us to delete your account and data.
