Core concepts
The objects that make up a Roar workspace.

Campaigns contain groups, and groups contain posts. Every tracked post belongs to exactly one campaign and one group, and a campaign's numbers are the sum of its groups' numbers.

└── Campaign "Spring launch"
└── Group "Micro creators"
└── Post a tracked TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube post
Creators, shortlists, and tags are separate from this hierarchy and can span campaigns.
Workspace#
Your team's account. Programs, campaigns, creators, shortlists, tags, the agent, your plan, and usage all belong to the workspace. Members are either an Owner or a Member; see Team and roles.
A workspace is created when you start a program or a Roar plan. See the quickstart.
Program#
Creator marketing work that Shortlist runs for you, such as UGC Ads or Organic UGC. Programs are listed under Offers in the sidebar. A program's campaigns are created in your workspace when you accept it, and nothing is billed until kickoff. See Programs.
Home#
The first page in the sidebar. Before a program is paid, it shows that program's getting-started checklist. After that, it shows what's waiting on you, such as briefs to approve, along with recent chats.
Campaign#
The top-level container for posts. A campaign has a name, an optional description and dates, and a status: Active, Paused, Scheduled, Completed, or Archived. Each campaign also has a Brief, written in Markdown, which creators see with their offers, along with any example posts you add.
Group#
A subdivision of a campaign, used to compare segments such as creator tiers, deliverables, platforms, or weeks.
Post#
A piece of content Roar tracks by its link. Roar refreshes its views, likes, comments, shares, and saves automatically. You can enter a post's Spend to calculate CPM. See Track posts and Refreshes.
Creator#
A person behind one or more tracked accounts. When you track an account, Roar adds that account's new posts automatically. Group as one creator combines one person's accounts on different platforms. See Creators.
Shortlist#
A list of creators you're considering, separate from the accounts you track. See Shortlists.
Tag#
A label for something in a post's content, in one of these categories: CTA, Hook, Visual, Audio, Creator, or Custom. See Tags.
Agent#
The workspace's AI assistant, available in Roar and over MCP. See Your agent.
AI credits#
The unit the agent's usage is measured in. Each plan includes a daily allowance, and owners can buy more. See Plans and usage.
