Creator partnerships
A partnership offer invites one creator to work on one of your campaigns.
Last updated
A partnership offer invites a creator to work on one of your campaigns, with a short letter and, optionally, the terms of the agreement. The creator gets an invite link and answers it in Roar for Creators. These are separate from the Offers page in the sidebar, which lists the programs you've bought from Shortlist.
Creators see the campaign's brief with the offer, so write the brief first.
Sending an offer#
Select Send offer on a creator's page or on a member's row in a shortlist.
- Choose a Campaign. Posts from the creator go to it.
- Name the partnership and write a short letter.
- Enter the creator's email. It's required, and it links the offer to their sign-up.
- Fill in whichever agreement fields you've settled. All are optional.
- Select Send offer.
Agreement fields#
| Field | Options |
|---|---|
| Program | Text on screen UGC, Talking head UGC, or Influencer |
| Posting quota | A number of posts per day, week, or month |
| Platforms | TikTok, Instagram, YouTube |
| Compensation | Retainer or Flat fee, with an amount in USD |
| Notes | Free text |
Invite links#
After you send, Roar shows Partnership created and the creator's invite link. "On its way to" means Roar emailed the creator. "Ready to send to" means no email was sent, so send the link yourself.
To copy the link later, open the offer and select Copy invite link.
The invited account#
An offer sent from a creator's page or a shortlist row is for that creator's account. To accept it, the creator has to add that account to Roar for Creators, get its Roar Score, and verify it with a code in its bio. Roar for Creators walks them through those steps from the offer. An offer with an email but no account accepts any of the creator's scored, verified accounts.
Posts the creator marks as posted have to be on the invited account, or on a verified account on the same platform.
Statuses#
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Invited | Sent but not opened |
| Seen | Opened by the creator |
| Accepted | Accepted by the creator |
| Declined | Declined by the creator |
| Withdrawn | Withdrawn by you |
| Expired | Not answered before its expiry date |
Creators can't change their answer. To change terms after a creator responds, send a new offer.
Accepted offers#
If you sent the offer from a shortlist, the creator is marked Contracted and Roar starts tracking their account, adding new posts to the offer's campaign.
The creator uploads drafts for review in Roar for Creators. After a draft is approved and posted, they add the live link and Roar tracks the post in your campaign. The Offers view on Creators shows each creator's stage (Invited, Onboarded, Producing, Live) and progress against their quota.
Withdrawing an offer#
Open the offer and select Withdraw offer. The creator loses access to the link, and this can't be undone. You can only withdraw offers that haven't been answered.
Restrictions#
- Offers can't be sent for archived campaigns, from archived shortlists, or for the built-in Shortlists campaign.
- Roar doesn't process payments to creators. Compensation is shown to the creator as part of the agreement.
Creators can read about offers from their side in the creator docs.
