Team and roles

Workspaces have two roles, Owner and Member.

Everyone in a workspace shares the same campaigns, posts, creators, tags, shortlists, and agent. Each person is an Owner or a Member.

Members can see owner-only settings but can't change them. Your role is shown under Your Role in Settings → Workspace.

Adding a teammate#

Only owners can add people, from the Team tab in Settings. The tab appears for workspaces on a Roar plan; for a program workspace without one, ask your Shortlist contact to add teammates.

  1. Open Settings → Team.
  2. Under Pre-add an email, enter their email.
  3. Choose Member or Owner under Role.
  4. Select Add.

If they already have a Roar account, they're added immediately. If not, their email is listed under Pre-added emails and they join automatically when they sign up with that address. Pre-added emails don't expire.

Adding the email of an existing Member with the Owner role promotes them. Owners can't be demoted this way.

Removing a teammate#

Owners can remove Members under Current members and cancel pending invites under Pre-added emails. Owners can't remove themselves or other Owners.

Removed members lose access immediately. Posts they tracked and campaigns they created stay in the workspace.

Private shortlists#

Shortlists are the only private items in a workspace. When creating one, choose Workspace to share it or Private to keep it to yourself. See Shortlists.
