Tags

Tags describe a post's content, such as its hook, call to action, format, or sound. Because tags work across campaigns, you can compare, for example, whether POV hooks outperform questions in all your programs. Your agent also uses tags when it analyzes what performs well.

Categories#

Each tag belongs to a category. Roar includes six:

Add tag category creates your own category, with a color.

Creating a tag#

1. Open Tags in the sidebar and select New tag.
2. Enter a Tag Name, choose a Category, and optionally add a Description.
3. Select Create Tag.

Tagging posts#

• Add tags when tracking a post with Quick Track, an account, or pasted links.
• Add or remove tags on any post on the Posts tab.
• Work through untagged posts in the tag backlog (below).
• Ask your agent, for example "Tag the last 10 posts in Spring launch by hook."

Tag backlog#

The Tag backlog on the Tags page shows untagged posts one at a time, with a count of how many remain (N untagged).

1. Open the Tag backlog.
2. Review the post. Roar shows Suggested tags based on its content.
3. Choose a suggestion and Apply tag, create a New tag, or Skip the post.
4. Use the arrow keys to move between posts.

The backlog can be filtered by campaign, creator, or platform. When every post is tagged, it shows Backlog clear.

Tag performance#

The Tags page lists each tag's Posts and Avg views, and a coverage ring shows what share of your posts are tagged, overall and by category. Select tags and choose Open in Overview to chart them. Overview also has a tag performance section.

Tag health#

The Health column flags tags that may need attention:

Select tags to Recategorize, Archive (with Undo), or Delete tags in bulk.
